‘Nature’s Charm’ Artwork Collection
The warming, afternoon sun sparkles through soft magnolia petals, as it lowers in the sky. A gentle breeze moves through the branches, as you breathe in the subtly sweet aromas. A moment in time. 🍃
This is the feeling that I wanted to capture in my latest collection of original artworks.
The swift nature of the magnolia season is what makes it all the more appreciated. Yet, I wanted that beauty to be accessible all throughout the year, bringing a calming atmosphere inside a home.
This collection of one-of-a-kind original paintings includes a range of sizes, colours, and floral subjects, all created in either oil or acrylic paints.
There is a great importance in including many layers in a piece, to build depth and texture. This contributes to the overall atmosphere of the painting and draws the viewer’s eye.
A textural quality to a painting creates an intimate relationship between the viewer and the artwork, as you step forward to take a closer look at exactly how the paint has been applied.
I used bold brush strokes and abstract marks to add movement into the paintings. This all helps to give the artwork a ‘presence’, bringing life to your home and a statement to your walls.
This collection to me feels peaceful, elegant, and restful. In a time when life feels difficult, complicated, and stressful. I want my art to feel like a sanctuary that you can unwind and soften into, creating a tranquil place for your eyes to rest.
