My Painting Process - New Artwork Collection ‘Nature’s Charm’

I'm so excited to share my new collection, "Nature’s Charm."

As a painter, I try to convey a feeling or experience, rather than the subject itself. In this collection, I enjoyed the contrast between the delicate petals and the thick paint texture.

I used a palette knife to add interesting marks so that the painting pulls you closer.

I wanted the colours to feel light and refreshing. If you look closely you can see pops of contrasting colours like oranges, yellows, lilacs & blues. It’s the unexpected ‘moments’ in a painting which make it unique.

I like to work on a variety of sizes and surfaces. Some of the paintings are on stretched canvas & others are painted on wooden panels. I affix hangings to all my paintings so they are ready to hang as soon as they arrive at your home. Framing options are also available (feel free to message me on your order and I can arrange this for you). 😄
